If it hadn't been for PayPerPost I don't know what I would have done when my husband left back in November of last year. I didn't have a car, so going out and finding a job was not an option. Besides, I like working at home. I had been blogging with PPP for a few months, but once he left, I got busy and started making it my full time job. Then I won $1,000 in April (see my post about it here) and I was in heaven! PPP really saved my life.

Well, I just received my first "opportunity"... for the alzhiemer's association - something I can relate to - I swear, I've had early-onsetting alzhiemers for years already, and I'm only forty three. Problem is... I don't know what to do - I'm gonna wing it - but any advice you have to offer would be appreciated.
Denise, I'm not sure why I even scrolled down when I saw that email with my first opportunity - part of me wanted to click on "take opportunity", but something inside said "look further", so I did. I thought, maybe I could learn something from someone who has done this already, maybe there were pointers if I clicked there, so I did... my heart skipped a beat when I read "when my husband left me last November", because I am in the exact same situation you were, now.
My husband actually left me in January of 2006, for eight months, because he was tired of me asking him not to drink anymore... we'd been married over 12 years at that point, and this wasn't a new problem - but he went to South Dakota to drink, and he stayed there and didn't send but a few hundred dollars, said hateful, horrible, hurtful things... and yet I took him back when he returned last September (2006) - here we are, one year later, and I have finally filed for divorce. I'm hoping that's a sign of strength on my part, because I feel pretty damn weak right now.
I cry every day, most the day, on and off - then get angry and stop for a while. I hate him. As much as I loved him, and still love him, I hate him even more for he's done to me.
We lost our truck last year while he was gone, he didn't care. We've almost lost the house four different times - and now, I am once again two payments behind ($1200 payments), and see no way out of this predicament at the moment. I'm still praying, constantly... I know I live by the grace of God, but sometimes I wonder "why" and "why me?"
Anyway, I don't even know if you read these personally - respond, or anything - but, if you do, I wouldn't mind a few words of advice from you... about blogging, or surviving this hell. I am a mother of four (with two still at home, 16 and 9, whom I homeschool). I have another vehicle, but I don't want to work outside of my home (unless its in the yard!)
